Saturday NFL Divisional Round Preview

Oh, you didn’t think it was too late for a round preview, did you? It probably is, but I’m doing one anyway. I wasn’t able to do one last week, so hopefully it’s okay this week. Sunday Preview comes out tomorrow.

#1 Packers vs. #6 Rams

The Rams will come in as huge underdogs with their main quarterback Jared Goff not 100 percent fit, however last week their defense showed that they can take over. The Packers dominated the NFC this year, but they didn’t have a lot of wins against big teams. This will surely be an interesting one.

Packers Player to Watch: Aaron Rodgers

He’s always a player to watch, but this year he’s become even more entertaining. He leads the league in pass completion percentage, QBR and passer rating, as well as not having a single interception. Is this his year to win another Super Bowl?

Rams Player to Watch: Aaron Donald

Another player vying for a second Super Bowl, and another Aaron, is Aaron Donald. He has been the defensive leader of the Rams for years now and this year is second in sacks and third in forced fumbles. He’s also had injury problems, but he’s a key player for the Rams.

Prediction:

Rams 30, Packers 24

#2 Bills vs. #5 Ravens

The Bills had a close game last week, but it was well worth the 25-year wait for a playoff win. The Ravens also had a close game, but they were the underdogs and upset the Titans. Despite the uncertainties, these teams deserve to be here and they have a legit chance of making it to the Super Bowl.

Bills Player to Watch: Stefon Diggs

The most exciting receiver this past season has been Stefon Diggs, helped by an elite quarterback in Josh Allen, as I correctly predicted. The former Viking leads in receptions and receiving yards and is second in receiving yards per game and fourth in yards from scrimmage. If Josh Allen gets going, Diggs can be a real threat.

Ravens Player to Watch: J.K. Dobbins

Dobbins has been one of the most exciting rookies this season and somewhat came out of nowhere. He has taken a lot of the rushing duties for Baltimore, taking some pressure off Lamar Jackson. Statistically speaking, he is first among RBs in yards per rush and has the seventh longest rush of the season.

Prediction:

Bills 20, Ravens 17
